Biography
Akshath Karthik is a Healthcare Academy student, Class of 2029, working toward a career in medicine with a focus on neurology and neurosurgery. He is an active member of HOSA — Future Health Professionals and volunteers in clinical rehabilitation at Brook Rehab, pairing classroom coursework with direct exposure to patient care.
Mission
To understand the brain and nervous system deeply enough to repair it — combining scientific rigor with the discipline of surgery to give patients back function, independence, and time.
Career Vision
To become a neurosurgeon — building the academic and clinical foundation now through the Healthcare Academy, HOSA, and hands-on volunteering, with the long-term goal of treating patients with neurological conditions and eventually contributing to research on neural repair and recovery.
